Bio
A graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Dr. Tim Remillard holds a bachelor of arts from McMaster’s arts and sciences program and a doctor of medicine from McMaster’s Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine. He subsequently completed a residency fellowship in family medicine, which included providing healthcare services in multiple underserved rural communities throughout northern Ontario. After completing this residency fellowship, Dr. Tim Remillard gained locum experience in more than 20 different northern Ontario communities. Working with North East Grey Health Clinics, he was instrumental in the establishment of a new medical clinic in Ontario’s Blue Mountains region. Since 1988, Dr. Tim Remillard has operated a private practice out of the Thornbury Medical Centre in Thornbury, Ontario. He has also provided a range of medical services through the offices of Grey Bruce Health Services in the Ontario municipality of Meaford. Dr. Remillard served Grey Bruce Health Services as a hospitalist until 2018 and currently runs his own Private Family Practice at the Thornbury Medical Centre. Dr. Remillard also is a Postgraduate Medical Instructor for the University of Toronto, McMaster University and for Ottawa University. Tim also contributes as the Investigating Coroner at the Ministry of Health and Site Investigator Clinical Trials in Thornbury.
