Bio
Senso Kiakuama was born June 16, 1965 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. He is the seventh child of 10 and has 3 brothers and 6 sisters. He grew up in Knishasa and left at the age of 12 to travel to Matadi City in Kongo Central to complete his schooling. He was fortunate enough to be able to witness the fight between Muhammed Ali and George Foreman in Kinsasa as a child and was able to visit Ali’s training camp while he was training in Africa as the Stadium was adjacent to his elementary school. Since then Kiakuama has always been involved in boxing, athletics and basketball. He played on the basketball team B.C. Kausa and played against NBA Legend Dikembe Mutombo who played for the B.C. Onatra at the time. Kiakuama left his family again in 1980 to go to Kikwiti City in Bandundu Province to study Secondary School in the jungle village of Kavanda where his uncle lived. He later left to France in 1989 and moved to Switzerland shortly after for two years to train in boxing where he entered severate amateur matches in Generva, Berne, Bielle, Lausanne, Zurich before moving to Canada in 1991 where he has resided and worked ever since.
