Drawing on his more than 10 years of experience in international shipping and trade, Mr. Alper has been recognized for founding the Prestige Shipping Group, an international logistics company responsible for exporting worldwide more than 500,000 automobiles and boats annually from the United States, and serving as the company’s chief executive officer. In this role, he secures trade routes, coordinates with clients abroad, secures space in ocean carriers, and operates a warehouse in the U.S. and several offices in Ukraine. In addition to his primary work with Prestige Shipping Group, Mr. Alper also serves as the vice president of sales for ArchiTech, a New York-based product development consultancy, a role he has held since 2015. Mr. Alper came to the logistics field from a background in law, having served for five years as a licensed attorney specializing in maritime law. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in business and communications from Baruch College in 2006, he went on to attend law school, completing a litigation internship at the law firm of Levine & Blit and obtaining a Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law in 2009. During that time, he held positions with the New York State Attorney General’s Office and Newman & Okun. Additionally, he received certifications as a mediator in New York, with specializations in civil, corporate and divorce mediation. Looking toward the future, Mr. Alper hopes to leverage his industry knowledge and expertise toward the expansion of Prestige Shipping Group’s global presence and the increase of its market share. To remain informed about developments facing his industry and position himself for future growth, he has maintained his professional affiliation with several pertinent organizations, including the North American Automobile Trade Association and the American Bar Association. Outside of work, his civic interests include Baranova, a charity that supports soldiers in Ukraine, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America."
