Oran Spencer was born in Jamaica and moved to the Bronx, NY when he was eight. Oran graduated from Harry S. Truman High School in 1994, University at Buffalo in 1998, Mercy College in 2003, and Southern Connecticut State University in 2022. Oran has a Bachelors in Biology, Masters in Education, and Educational Leadership Certification. Oran began his career as a Substitute Teacher in Norwalk Public Schools, then obtained a permanent position teaching science in Bridgeport Public Schools where he still teaches today. He is also an owner and operator of OSTRONG Cab Corp, an NYC taxi medallion and a Best Deal Car Service partnership providing transportation services to medical voucher passengers. Spencer also operates Ostrong Limousine Airport Service to and from Connecticut to local Airports.
