Hamid El Mourhir grew up in Morocco and moved to Montréal in 2008. In Morocco, he lived in the city of Casablanca until the age of 18. After that he went to a well-known business school in the city of Agadir. He has a Bachelor degree in business administration from a Moroccan school (ENCG). He also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Accounting from Université du Québec à Montréal UQAM (school of management sciences). In 2011 he received his Master of Business Administration from Université du Québec à Montréal UQAM (school of management sciences). Hamid has a Certified public accountant (CPA) certification. In his free time he does a lot of volunteering. He is an active member at several reception and integration organizations for newly arrived immigrants and refugees. He helps them to learn French, find a job, and to integrate into society. Besides his volunteering, he enjoys soccer and swimming. He also practised martial arts for several years, focusing mainly on kickboxing.
