Ethan Putterman is an Educational Consultant located in Miami, Florida. Mr. Putterman has a Ph.D in Political Science from the University of Chicago, an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago, an M.sc. in Political Theory from the London School of Economics, a BA in Political Science from the University of Colorado, and a Boulder Post-doctoral Fellow Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Ethan Putterman is a renowned expert on the political philosophy of Jean-Jacques Rousseau. He published a book, 'Rousseau, Law and the Sovereignty of the People (Cambridge University Press, 2010). His articles have appeared in the American Political Science Review, the top journal in the field of political science. He is a political theorist and his specialty is constitutionalism, democracy, and human rights. He also teaches classes on Albert Camus and existentialism. Ethan is also a dedicated humanitarian. He has dedicated his time and volunteered to teach at different colleges and universities in Yangon and Mandalay in Myanmar. He received an award for this from Dagon University for his outstanding contributions to teaching and mentoring their students. He has also contributed to society by offering assistance and providing humanitarian aid to the survivors of the genocide at Srebrenica, Bosnia through participating in their annual peace march and interviewing dozens of survivors of the Srebrenica genocide with the hopes of publicizing their cause given that these survivors receive very limited humanitarian aid from the United Nations and European Union.
